About the Job We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our team and take ownership of managing, maintaining, and supporting our organization's IT infrastructure, systems, servers, and end-user environments. This is a critical role that ensures the availability, security, performance, and reliability of our IT systems while providing exceptional technical support and driving infrastructure improvements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, technically curious professional with strong troubleshooting and systems administration skills. You will work across both Windows and Linux environments, with Linux experience being a strong advantage. You'll be responsible for administering servers, networks, and IT infrastructure while proactively monitoring system performance and addressing issues before they impact operations. In this role, you will collaborate with vendors, participate in infrastructure projects, and contribute to continuous improvements in system reliability, security, and operational efficiency. You'll also provide technical guidance to internal users and IT team members, respond to incidents according to established SLAs, and maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and procedures. • 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, IT Infrastructure, Network Administration, or a related role.
• Strong experience supporting and administering Windows environments.
• Linux administration experience preferred (Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL, Debian, or similar).
• Working knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and routing.
• Experience with server administration, system monitoring, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of user and access management, Active Directory, or similar identity-management platforms.
• Understanding of IT security best practices, patch management, and system hardening.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to critical incidents.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering Linux servers.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar.
• Knowledge of scripting/automation using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and IT service management platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, Security+, Linux+, RHCSA, Microsoft, AWS, or Azure certifications
