InvestEd is seeking a Senior Investments Associate to support the operational management of the company's capital partners, consisting primarily of high-net-worth individuals, family offices, institutional credit funds, and equity investors.
This is not a fundraising or relationship ownership role. Relationship management, fundraising, commercial negotiations, and strategic capital development remain under the CEO and the Head of External Relations.
Instead, the Senior Investments Associate serves as the operational backbone of the Capital Partners function, ensuring that every lender and investor account is administered accurately, professionally, and in accordance with InvestEd's internal policies.
While this role supports both lenders and investors, the majority of responsibilities are currently focused on lender account management.
The role reports directly to the Head of External Relations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lender Account Management
Provide day-to-day administrative support across the full lender lifecycle, including:
- Maintaining complete and accurate lender records
- Tracking account maturities, renewals, payment schedules, reporting deadlines, and contractual obligations
- Supporting lender onboarding and contracting
- Coordinating notarization, document execution, and document custody
- Monitoring lender reporting schedules
- Supporting lender payment administration with Finance
- Tracking post-dated checks (PDCs), deposits, replacements, and cancellations
- Supporting lender renewals and offboarding
- Maintaining inquiry and issue logs
- Ensuring compliance with InvestEd's Lender Management Policy
KYC/AML Administration
- Coordinate the collection and completion of KYC/AML requirements for lenders and investors.
- Check documents for completeness, validity, and consistency based on approved requirements.
- Maintain KYC/AML records, trackers, expiry dates, and periodic document refreshes.
- Escalate screening alerts, discrepancies, and potential red flags to Compliance for review and approval.
2. Investor Account Administration
Provide administrative support for InvestEd's equity investors, including:
- Maintaining investor records and contact information
- Coordinating execution and filing of investment documents
- Managing investor reporting distribution
- Supporting due diligence requests and data room administration
- Tracking investor communications and follow-up items
- Coordinating administrative requirements related to shareholder matters
3. Relationship Management & Capital Origination Support
Support the CEO and Head of External Relations in managing relationships with prospective and existing lenders and investors by providing high-quality administrative and operational support throughout the fundraising lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing briefing materials for investor and lender meetings
- Coordinating fundraising meetings, roadshows, and capital events
- Preparing meeting agendas, presentation materials, and supporting documents
- Attending meetings with the CEO and Head of External Relations to capture notes, action items, and follow-ups
- Tracking fundraising pipelines and relationship stages within the CRM
- Coordinating due diligence requests and document submissions
- Preparing first drafts of follow-up emails and meeting summaries
- Monitoring outstanding commitments and ensuring timely execution of agreed action items
- Coordinating logistics for document signing, closings, and capital transactions
- Maintaining organized records of all investor and lender interactions
- Supporting special projects related to fundraising, capital formation, and strategic partnerships
The role supports the relationship management process but does not independently originate, negotiate, or own capital relationships.
4. Capital Documentation & Records Management
Maintain complete, organized, and audit-ready records across all capital partners by:
- Managing digital and physical document repositories
- Maintaining contract trackers
- Maintaining reporting trackers
- Monitoring renewal calendars
- Updating communication logs
- Ensuring records remain synchronized with Finance and Legal
- Maintaining a single source of truth for all capital partner documentation
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate administrative activities across multiple teams, including:
- External Relations
- Finance
- Legal
- Compliance
- Operations
Ensure deadlines are met, approvals are completed, and documentation flows efficiently between functions.
6. Process Improvement
Continuously improve the operational infrastructure supporting InvestEd's capital partners by:
- Developing SOPs and checklists
- Improving administrative workflows
- Standardizing templates
- Enhancing tracking systems
- Identifying automation opportunities
- Strengthening operational controls and audit readiness
Scope of Authority
This role does not own:
- Fundraising
- Investor or lender origination
- Relationship ownership
- Commercial negotiations
- Pricing or structuring of investment or lending facilities
- Final approval of lender or investor communications
- Interpretation of contracts
- Financial validation of balances or payment calculations
- CEO-level escalations
These responsibilities remain with the CEO, Head of External Relations, Head of Finance, Legal, and Compliance as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Legal Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:
- Investment Operations
- Private Banking or Wealth Management
- Fund Administration
- Corporate Finance
- Financial Services Operations
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple transactions, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.

- Ability to work effectively with senior executives and sophisticated external stakeholders, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors.
