Senior Information Technology Engineer

Job Description Summary

The ITS Digital Transformation (DX) Senior Engineer supports Yokogawa's digital transformation by maintaining, enhancing, and supporting Enterprise EPR system and other business applications. The role focuses on ensuring stable application operations, supporting end users and business stakeholders, and driving improvements in operational efficiency through business process automation (e.g., RPA), data analytics (e.g., Tableau and Power BI), and related IT technologies, in alignment with Yokogawa's Internal DX initiatives.

Justification

YPI - ITS is needed and hiring a Senior IT Engineer – Digital Experience (DX) leads automation and digitalization initiatives to enhance business processes, user experience, and data-driven decision-making. The role focuses on designing and integrating enterprise solutions using platforms such as RPA (e.g., Automation Anywhere), SAP HANA, Tableau, Power BI, and Power Automate. It requires strong expertise in system architecture, database management, virtualization, and programming. Provided advanced troubleshooting and technical support for complex system issues, while evaluating and implementing emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Job Description

Experience

• 3–8 years of experience in IT, Business Systems, Digital Transformation, ERP, or Analytics roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications such as SAP, ERP, or business information systems.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and managing digital projects.
• Experience in designing, developing, and implementing automated workflows (e.g., Power Automate, RPA tools)

Key Responsibilities

Digital Transformation & Innovation

• Lead and support Digital Transformation (DX) projects across business and operational functions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digitalization.
• Implement automated notifications, approvals, escalations, and workflow monitoring through Power Automate.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated business processes using programming languages (C# and Java), data visualization tools (Tableau), and Microsoft Power Platform technologies (Power Apps and Power Automate) is preferred.

Enterprise Systems Support

• Support new Global SAP project implementation as the Local Process Architect (LPA).
• Support this new business system and its surrounding sub-system.
• Collaborate with business users to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in system enhancements, testing, deployment, and end-user training.

SQL Development & Data Analytics

• Design and develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting solutions.
• Create dashboards and KPI reports using Tableau or Power BI and other analytics platforms.
• Analyze business data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights to support informed management decision-making.

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ability to work in compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies, ISMS requirements, and IT governance standards.
• Sound knowledge of access control principles and secure system design practises.
• Ability to participate in audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
