Senior In-House Counsel (Philippines)

We're a fast-growing tech company with several product lines and businesses, and we're expanding in the Philippines. We're looking for a senior lawyer to be our go-to counsel for PH work. You'll work directly with leadership and our existing legal team.

What you'll own

- Structuring how we engage people in the Philippines: contractor vs. employee classification, contractor agreements, and DOLE compliance as we grow

- Commercial contracts: client MSAs, vendor, partnership and reseller deals

- Corporate and regulatory matters: entity setup, SEC filings, foreign-ownership and Anti-Dummy questions, licensing, and BIR touchpoints

- Data Privacy Act compliance and working with our security and compliance programs

- Advising on new business lines and market entry as we launch them

- Practical, fast advice that the business can act on the same day

What you bring

- Member of the Philippine Bar in good standing, with 10+ years of practice

- Broad corporate, commercial and labor experience, ideally gained at a top firm and then in-house

- Experience with tech, outsourcing or high-growth companies

- Data privacy experience is a big plus

- Writes clearly, works independently, and is comfortable remote and in a fast-moving startup
