Position Type: Full Time

Location: Philippines (Remote)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm PST

About the Role

Our client is hiring a Senior Implementation Consultant to join their Accounting group and architect, deliver, and enable various software implementations for their trades and construction clients. You will own the full implementation lifecycle—from discovery and solution design through configuration, go-live, and optimization—partnering with business owners, CFO's, controllers, and field operations teams to stand up accounting ecosystems that actually fit how their business runs.

This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who combines deep accounting knowledge with hands-on QBO expertise and the construction-specific app stack that surrounds it. They are leading with AI optimizations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full implementation lifecycle: Gather business requirements, create design and walkthrough documents and solution workflow diagrams, perform product implementation, and deliver enablement training for customers.
  • Manage a portfolio of enterprise implementations: Own multiple customer implementations from project inception through go-live, working closely with project managers and business analysts to deliver on time and on budget.
  • Architect the right solution: Develop a clear solution vision that solves the customer's major business pains, drives measurable value, and supports their end users and field teams.
  • Lead discovery workshops: Facilitate customer discovery sessions and present software options, ensuring requirements are elicited, understood, and documented, and that stakeholders align on scope and outcomes.
  • Advise on best practices: Guide customers on best practices for solution design and project execution, including chart of accounts structure, job costing, WIP, progress billing, and period-end close.
  • Resolve challenges and evolve configurations: Troubleshoot customer issues, refine and extend system configurations, and make sure the solution continues to fit as the business grows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Partner with key stakeholders across the client's business to identify uncertainties and risks within their process areas and translate them into clear, actionable solution requirements.
  • Present customized solutions: Demonstrate how the company's technology and our QBO-centered solution stack achieve each customer's specific goals and objectives.
  • Enable the team: Help teammates build solutions that leverage the full suite of Company Services, increasing delivery efficiency and consistency across projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Contribute to internal delivery processes, templates, and enablement materials that improve efficiency, quality, and the overall customer

Competencies and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, or administering QuickBooks Online, ideally for trades, construction, or project-based businesses.
  • Strong accounting foundation (US GAAP) including accrual accounting, job costing, WIP, percentage-of-completion, AR/AP, payroll, sales tax, and month-end close—accounting knowledge is a must. (Job costing & WIP could be trained if necessary)
  • Hands-on experience with third-party apps common in the trades and construction ecosystem, including JobTread, Knowify, and ServiceTitan, as well as supporting tools such as Procore, CompanyCam, Bill.com, Ramp, Gusto, and Melio.
  • Demonstrated success leading multiple concurrent enterprise implementations end-to-end—on time, in scope, and on budget.
  • Strong solution design skills: able to produce design documents, workflow diagrams, and configuration specs that translate business requirements into a working system.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills; able to lead discovery workshops and confidently present solutions to owners, controllers, and operational leaders.
  • Self-directed, highly organized, and comfortable managing a book of client engagements fully remotely.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice-to-Have:

  • QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification (Advanced preferred).
  • CPA, CMA, or active progress toward certification.
  • Prior experience at an accounting firm, fractional CFO/controller practice, or implementation/consulting team serving construction or trades.
  • Experience integrating field-operations tools (scheduling, estimating, project management) with QBO.
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools layered on QBO (LiveFlow, PowerBi, Fathom, Reach Reporting, etc.).
  • Experience with data migrations into QBO (from QuickBooks Desktop, spreadsheets, or other accounting/ERP tools).
