Your impact
- Lead the development, calibration, validation, and integration of advanced hydraulic and hydrological models, including flood mapping and impact assessments for complex projects.
- Provide technical leadership and governance, resolving complex modeling challenges in collaboration with senior engineers, project directors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Drive high-level internal and external engagements, including technical discussions, client coordination, and professional presentations.
- Author, review, and approve technical reports and modeling deliverables, ensuring compliance with best practices, regulatory standards, and quality requirements.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level professionals, promoting technical excellence, knowledge transfer, and team capability building.
- Stay at the forefront of industry innovations and emerging methodologies, contributing to continuous improvement and strengthening the organization's professional profile.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable.
- Progressive professional experience with a strong technical foundation in hydrology and hydraulic engineering, including complex, large-scale projects.
- Demonstrated expert-level proficiency in industry-standard hydraulic and hydrological modeling software, with the ability to select and apply appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Extensive experience applying international standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements in modeling, flood risk assessment, and impact studies.
- Proven ability to produce, review, and approve high-quality technical reports and deliver effective presentations for clients, regulators, and senior stakeholders.
- Strong collaborative and leadership skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams and mentoring technical staff.
