Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and commercially minded Senior Manager - People (HRBP) to support our rapidly growing Logistics business in the Philippines. This is a senior leadership role within the country's People function, acting as the primary strategic partner to the Country Head of Logistics and the senior management team.

You will be responsible for translating business objectives into effective people strategies, driving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with DP World's global standards.

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as the trusted advisor and co-pilot to the Logistics Country Head and senior leadership team. Diagnose organizational issues and deploy people strategies that solve business problems and drive growth.
  • Lead the local talent review process. Identify high-potential employees, build robust succession plans for critical roles, and champion career development initiatives to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Partner with business leaders to review organizational structures, ensuring they are fit for purpose. Lead strategic workforce planning to ensure we have the right capabilities and headcount to deliver on business targets.
  • Champion a culture of engagement, inclusion, and high performance. Analyze employee engagement data to design and implement targeted interventions that improve retention and morale across both corporate and operational (warehouse/transport) teams.
  • Drive a high-performance culture by coaching leaders on effective goal setting, feedback, and managing underperformance. Ensure the performance management cycle is executed with rigor and fairness.
  • Lead the people side of change projects, such as business restructuring, M&A integration, or new system implementations. Ensure effective communication and change adoption strategies are in place.
  • Serve as the senior point of escalation for complex employee relations issues. Ensure full compliance with the Labor Code of the Philippines and mitigate legal risks related to disciplinary actions and separations.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, PHR) is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior HR Business Partner role.
  • Experience supporting a Logistics, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing client group is strongly preferred, with a demonstrated understanding of the nuances between managing corporate vs. operational/blue-collar workforces.
  • Expert knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws and industrial relations best practices.
  • Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving strategic HR initiatives (not just transactional HR support).
  • Strong business acumenyou must be able to read a P&L and understand how HR levers impact the bottom line.
  • Business fluency in English and Filipino (Tagalog) is mandatory.
