The Senior HRBP for the Philippines is responsible for supporting the people function of a new financial services business under Advance Intelligence Group, partnering with business leaders to establish HR foundations, ensure compliance, and drive people strategies aligned with the organization's growth.
Job Description
- Partner with senior leaders and management to align people strategies with business objectives, acting as a trusted advisor on all HR matters
- Provide HR consulting on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and employee relations
- Ensure the company's HR practices, policies, and frameworks are compliant with local labor laws, SEC regulations, and BSP guidelines relevant to fintech and financial services operations
- Collaborate with the broader People team (TA, L&D, Total Rewards, HR Ops) to deliver integrated people solutions that support business performance
- Identify and address employee relations issues proactively, fostering a high-trust, high-performance work culture
- Analyze HR data and metrics to surface insights that inform talent decisions and people strategies
- Cascade and communicate policy changes and regulatory updates effectively to employees and managers
- Support leadership in building organizational capability, succession planning, and team effectiveness initiatives
- Represent the people agenda in cross-functional discussions and help secure stakeholder buy-in for people programs
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HRBP or HR generalist role
- Prior experience in fintech, financial services, or a BSP/SEC-regulated company is strongly preferred
- Exposure to startup or high-growth environments is a significant advantage
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge
- Working familiarity with BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) and SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) regulations as they relate to HR and workforce compliance in financial institutions
- Solid understanding of Philippine Labor Code, DOLE regulations, and statutory employment requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR)
