The Qualification We Seek

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Employee Relations and People Business Partnering within the BPO or Shared Services industry
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE compliance, SEnA, end-to-end case management, policy development, employee discipline, performance management, talent development, and strategic business partnering
  • Proven ability to lead and implement organizational change initiatives within complex work environments
  • Hands-on experience in leading and executing account-specific or program-specific projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask, take initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving workplace
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, willingness to challenge the status quo, and ability to thrive in dynamic environments
  • Exceptional ability to build strong client relationships, collaborate effectively, and deliver outstanding customer service
  • High standards of ethics, integrity, responsibility, and accountability
  • Willingness to report onsite in Cebu as required
  • Willingness to work night shift schedules

Your Daily Tasks

Business Partnership

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders through responsive, timely, and collaborative partnership
  • Provide HR policy guidance, interpretation, and consultation to management
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop effective solutions, programs, and policies
  • Advise on business unit structures, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives
  • Assess and anticipate the HR-related needs of clients and employees

Employee Relations, Engagement, and Retention

  • Address and resolve employee concerns promptly while providing appropriate feedback and solutions
  • Foster positive employee relationships, morale, productivity, and retention
  • Initiate and drive employee engagement activities, rewards, and recognition programs
  • Conduct regular employee touchpoints, including one-on-one sessions, small group meetings, and focus group discussions, and provide reports with actionable insights and plans
  • Conduct exit interviews and submit reports to the Immediate Superior and Business Unit Head

Performance Management

  • Facilitate probationary and annual performance reviews
  • Oversee employee movements, including status changes, promotions, merit increases, and salary reviews
  • Provide performance management guidance through coaching, counseling, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
  • Career Management and Learning & Development
  • Facilitate career development discussions with employees
  • Identify and develop future leaders through targeted training initiatives
  • Determine and address business unit and individual training needs in collaboration with the Learning and Development team
  • Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness and ensure the achievement of learning objectives

Employee Discipline

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and minimize legal risks
  • Consult with HR Leaders on disciplinary actions, policy enforcement, and adherence to the Code of Conduct
  • Conduct learning sessions and roadshows on discipline management
  • Manage and resolve complex disciplinary matters through thorough investigations

Compliance and Occupational Safety & Health

  • Implement, maintain, and inspect workplace health and safety standards in coordination with Facilities & Admin
  • Provide safety management guidance, monitoring, and reporting
  • Engage employees in workplace safety programs and training initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, including DOLE, PEZA, BOI, and other applicable requirements

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks assigned by the Company as required
  • Comply with instructions from authorized Company representatives
  • Carry out administrative and non-administrative duties as assigned
