- Responsible for the Design/supervision of Road/Highways in accordance with local and international standards using C3D design software.
- Geometric Layout: Determining road geometry, including horizontal/vertical alignments, lane widths, and sight distances to ensure vehicle stability and safety, using DPWH local standard (for local projects), international standards like AASHTO for foreign projects.
- Field works: Data gathering and site verifications of actual site conditions.
- Highway Design reports: Preparation of Highway design and inspection reports.
- Meetings: attend client meetings if requested.
Formal Qualifications
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Preferably at-least 8 years of experienced as Highway Designer
- License Civil Engineer
Skills / Knowledge
- Proficient in Road/Highway Design using C3D and Auto CAD software
- Knowledgeable with Local DPWH and AASTHO International standards for Highway Design
