About the Role
Our client is a boutique marketing and design agency serving corporate clients across a range of industries, including mining and property. They're looking for a mid-level Graphic Designer / UX Designer to take ownership of front-end web design, print collateral, and brand systems for their clients — working closely with their existing WordPress developer to deliver clean, professional, corporate-grade design.
This is a hands-on design role for someone who wants to do great work with real autonomy. You'll be trusted to run with briefs, make sound design decisions, and flag improvements — not just execute instructions.
What You'll Do
- Design front-end web pages and web assets that are clean, crisp, and corporate in style
- Produce print advertising and marketing collateral for corporate clients
- Build and maintain brand style guides for clients
- Create design assets for social media (tiles, graphics, campaign creative)
- Collaborate closely with our WordPress developer on web design implementation
- Work autonomously — identifying and addressing design tasks proactively rather than waiting on detailed direction
- Over time, take on a lead design role, shaping brand development for new clients
What We're Looking For
- Solid senior-level design experience
- Strong proficiency in the Adobe Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- A portfolio demonstrating clean, professional, corporate design work
- Front-end web design experience (UX/UI sensibility, not necessarily hand-coding)
- Experience building style guides and brand systems
- A genuinely self-directed, proactive way of working — comfortable owning tasks end-to-end and flagging issues or improvements without being asked
- Excellent attention to output detail (correct sizing, resolution, and colour profiles for print and web)
- Strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for corporate or industrial-sector clients
- Comfort working alongside a remote WordPress developer/social media lead
- A track record of self-taught skill development
