Job Summary

The Senior Global Sourcing Coordinator supports all HMBR orders, primarily sourced from overseas manufacturers. This role encompasses end-to-end project management, including scope definition, budget management, and resource tracking, within a fast-paced and creative environment where priorities may shift frequently. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, adaptability, and quick, creative problem-solving skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of HMBR orders, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Collaborate with departmental managers on department-wide initiatives and operational improvements
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with internal clients and cross-functional teams
  • Create and manage purchase orders across multiple projects
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for Retail Specialty
  • Provide training and support to new and existing Global Sourcing Coordinators as needed

PROJECT MANAGEMENT DUTIES

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage both strategic and tactical aspects of key projects, including scheduling, estimated landed costs, quality, communication, and relationship management
  • Ensure project requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and delivered
  • Coordinate with Logistics to track shipment status and freight costs
  • Manage PO receiving and approvals, including tracker updates
  • Maintain accurate records of test reports, packing lists, and certificates for all HMBR projects
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Maintain the high-quality standards expected by the client and its partners
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager
