We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced professional to serve as a Senior Geopolitical and Risk Intelligence Analyst to be embedded within the Security Operations Center (SOC) of a private international institution in Mandaluyong.
Summary of the RoleThe Senior Geopolitical and Risk Intelligence Analyst leads the SOC's information and analysis functions, overseeing the daily production, validation, and dissemination of risk advisories, situational reports, and threat alerts. You will lead a team of geopolitical and risk intelligence analysts in producing actionable insights for high-level executives. You will be reporting to the SOC Operations Manager.
- Work Arrangement: Fulltime ON-SITE position
- Work Schedule: 6 days per week, 07:00 - 17:00
- Availability: On-call; availability outside of work hours for high-alert events or incident surge support.
Expected Competencies- Strong command of structured risk analysis and intelligence validation.
- Experience supervising teams in high-volume reporting environments.
- Ability to set tasking priorities, manage alert workflows, and enforce quality control.
- Editorial precision and clear writing for executive-level briefings.
- Familiarity with regional and global threat landscapes, including geopolitical, natural hazard, and civil unrest indicators.
- Effective communicator under pressure, with a client-oriented approach and attention to institutional sensitivities.
- Familiarity with GIS platforms, data visualization tools, social listening technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, or trend analysis dashboards is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the daily production, validation, and dissemination of risk advisories, situational reports, and threat alerts.
- Supervise the team of geopolitical and risk intelligence analysts, managing daily tasking and priorities to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of outputs.
- Integrate open-source, institutional, and partner data to generate actionable intelligence.
- Support real-time escalation, monitor geopolitical developments, and provide high-quality briefings during high-alert or crisis periods.
- Maintain editorial precision and clear writing for executive-level briefings.
- Set tasking priorities, manage alert workflows, and enforce quality control across the information analysis function.
Qualifications- At least five (5) years of experience in security information management and production, intelligence validation, or data fusion roles.
- At least three (3) years in a supervisory or lead analyst capacity.
- At least one (1) year of experience as a lead analyst in an international setting is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in political science, international relations, geography, diplomacy, security studies, crisis management, or a related field.
- Equivalent field or intelligence experience may be considered in lieu of a specified Bachelor's degree.
