I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
Works closely to make all business units property wide better informed through data and analytics reporting. Works closely with management in drawing insights from customer, business and promotional data and creates compelling data visualizations, dashboards and info-graphics to help different areas of the organization to make better informed decisions.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Analyzes and interprets information from multiple data sources and business stakeholders to identify actionable insights and present them back to the business.
- Provides regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis on business KPI's, forecasting and game analysis
- Understands the data and analytical requirements of different business units and delivers relevant insights in order to meet business requirements
- Provides insightful assessment of campaign and program performance, and creates reports and tools to drive marketing effectiveness and efficiency
- Ensures successful and productive working relationship with the analytics team and all business units serviced
- Works with the team to deliver Strategic Marketing strategies across the organization, including the casino, hospitality, F&B, club, spa, entertainment and retail, to facilitate customer retention and customer loyalty
- Monitors the competitive environment both in the local market as well as regionally and provides weekly management updates
- Analyzes the gaming and systemic database to maximize the profitability of casino events and promotions
- Produces in-depth statistical analysis in order to optimize the casino marketing profit with the ultimate goal of maximizing the overall gaming profit
- Audits reports versus budget and historical figures
- Helps uncover insights on consumer behavior, across all points in the customer journey - acquisition, usage, retention, etc.
- Handles, maintains and analyzes incentive structure and standards of performance of Business Development team
- Handles, maintains and analyzes different reports by acquiring data from Loyalty System, Tele-marketing, Gaming systems, CRM system, etc.
- Provides technological and financial analysis for system and business improvement
- Prepares standard reports to support daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports using existing reporting tools.
- Fulfills ad-hoc data and reporting requests for marketing and management reporting needs where data is not readily available
- Monitors and audits about the usage of complimentary gift in accordance with the company standards
- Effectively engages in event & campaign management processes, including pre-analysis, marketing leads generation and campaign effectiveness tracking
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Requirement :
- Bachelor's Degree preferably with major in statistics, math, computer science or finance
Experience Requirements :
- 1 3 years experience working in Strategic Marketing, Business Intelligence, Decision Management, Data Science or related positions
- Experience in Strategic Marketing and/or loyalty programs in the gaming, hospitality, airline, financial services or retail space
- Demonstrated success working with very large data sets, developing tools for streamlined analysis and creating reports that succinctly summarize complex concepts
Leadership Skills :
- Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
- Excellent organizational and decision making skills
Technical Skills :
- Working knowledge on analytic tools and software such as Python, SAS, R, PIG, HIVE, SPSS and Tableau
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
