JOB SUMMARY
Lead analytical work for the Rolling and Cash gaming segments, including player value, reinvestment efficiency, host management, segmentation, and margin optimization. This role heads the Rolling/Cash analytics workstream and provides guidance to Gaming Analysts supporting the segment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Rolling and Cash Performance Analysis
- Monitor Rolling and Cash performance across volume, theo, win/loss, actual results, and player mix.
- Identify drivers of performance changes and segment-level risks.
- Highlight anomalies and margin leakage early.
Reinvestment and Player Value Optimization
- Evaluate comps, incentives, rebates, and other reinvestment by player and segment.
- Assess incremental value versus cost.
- Recommend guideline adjustments or exceptions based on economics.
Host Management and Portfolio Analytics
- Analyze host-coded players, host portfolios, productivity, and coverage gaps.
- Identify under-managed, over-comped, inactive, or misassigned players.
- Support host review discussions with structured analysis.
Player Segmentation and Lifecycle Analysis
- Develop and refresh segment views for Rolling and Cash customers.
- Identify retention, reactivation, growth, and migration opportunities.
- Support player strategy and campaign targeting with segment insights.
Workstream Leadership and Analyst Guidance
- Guide Gaming Analysts assigned to Rolling/Cash workstreams.
- Review analysis for logic, accuracy, and commercial relevance.
- Translate business questions into analytical tasks.
Stakeholder Partnership and Decision Support
- Partner with Gaming Operations, Hosts, Marketing, and Finance.
- Present clear recommendations and trade-offs.
- Ensure analysis supports decisions, not only reporting.
People Management
- Performance Management: Come up with strategies that will help direct reports achieve their performance goals, and drive high performance. This also includes conducting performance planning, goal setting, and evaluations.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provides guidance to direct reports in performing their areas of responsibility, and supports their growth and development.
- Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives and provide a work environment that will promote employee engagement and high commitment to the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Hospitality Management, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is preferred for leadership roles.
- 5-10+ years of experience in gaming analytics, commercial analytics, revenue management, strategy, or related functions. Casino, IR, hospitality, or customer analytics experience preferred.
- Preferred but not required: certifications in analytics, revenue management, finance, project management, data visualization, CRM, or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of Rolling and Cash gaming economics, player value, theo vs actual, reinvestment, host management, segmentation, and casino customer behavior.
