Key Responsibilities
Investor & Fund Reporting
- Coordinate the preparation of quarterly investor reports and the annual audit process, corporation tax, GST remissions and FATCA/CRS reporting of tax-incentivised funds and investment vehicles managed by Clifford Capital Asset Management.
- Spearhead transaction deliverables in shadow accounting to maintain a robust internal book of records. Review fund administrator outputs against internal records and investigate valuation, position, and accounting discrepancies.
- Perform balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation of investment positions and related balances.
- Support the calculation, review, and oversight of management fees, carried interest, and other fund-level allocations, ensuring consistency with fund governing documents and accounting standards,
Fund Administration & Oversight
- Oversee third-party fund administrators and service providers to ensure timely and accurate NAV production, financial reporting and settlement of fund invoices.
- Liaise with third-party fund administrators on Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA)-aligned best practices, including capital calls and distributions, capital account statements, and reporting of money-weighted returns, multiples, and related performance analytics.
- Maintain fund liquidity forecasts to streamline cash management and minimise cash drag, Monitor cash positions and support funding, capital call, distribution, and treasury activities.
- Provide support for ad hoc requests, transactions and related workstreams.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of End-to-End Fund Accounting experience (combined)
- Strong understanding of private credit fund structures and fund accounting concepts, including partnership accounting, equalisations, and carried interest waterfalls.
- Deep technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and their application to accounting of closed-ended private credit funds.
- Familiarity with International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation (IPEV) guidelines and valuation principles for private credit investments.
- Strong controls mindset, with experience overseeing outsourced service providers and an understanding of governance frameworks, including ISAE 3402 compliance.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and strong financial modelling capabilities.
