Senior Full Stack Java Developer

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced enterprise applications that power our clients critical operations. You will drive digital innovation, ensure high-quality deliverables, and provide technical leadership within cross-functional teams. Your expertise will directly impact the success of high-profile projects and contribute to HCLTech's reputation as a technology thought leader.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java full stack solutions for complex business requirements, ensuring alignment with client and organizational objectives.

- Maintain and enhance existing application features, troubleshoot and resolve bugs, and deliver timely support for both minor enhancements and major new developments.

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring optimal architectural decisions.

- Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and fostering best practices within the team.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation in compliance with CMMi and client-specific requirements.

- Manage day-to-day support activities, including incident resolution, data presentation, and monitoring project progress to ensure adherence to schedules and established quality standards.

- Interface with customers and internal teams to provide expert technical insights and ensure successful project outcomes.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Technical Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Java full stack development (including Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and relevant front-end frameworks such as Angular or React).

- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.

- Hands-on experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.

- 5+ years of professional experience in Java full stack development.

- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade software solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (OPTIONAL)

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Exposure to DevOps practices and automated testing frameworks.

- Client-facing experience and strong stakeholder management abilities.

- Industry certifications (e.g., Oracle Java, AWS Certified Developer, Scrum Master) are a plus.
