The Role
We are looking for a senior Full Stack Developer with strong Ruby on Rails and React/Next.js experience to play a key role in the engineering team. This position works closely with the US leadership and product team, and the ideal candidate will help drive high-quality development across a distributed team while also contributing directly to the codebase.
Your Responsibilities- Hands-On Development
- Build and maintain backend systems using Ruby on Rails
- Develop modern frontend applications using React and Next.js
- Take ownership of features from concept through deployment
- Support bug fixes, enhancements, and ongoing improvements
- Code Quality & Best Practices
- Participate in and lead code reviews
- Help maintain clean, scalable, and production-ready code
- Identify and address technical debt where appropriate
- Technical Contribution
- Contribute to architectural and design decisions
- Help improve performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Work with leadership to evolve the platform over time
- Collaboration
- Work closely with US-based leadership and product team
- Collaborate with a distributed engineering team
- Communicate clearly on progress, risks, and next steps
What We're Looking For
- Must have ideally 6 years of full stack development experience
- Strong experience with Ruby on Rails
- Strong frontend experience with React and Next.js
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Experience building and supporting production systems
- Comfortable working in a remote/distributed environment
- Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail
- Actively uses tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar in daily work
- Uses AI to improve speed, debugging, and quality
- Interested in staying current with modern engineering practices
