Senior Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in JavaScript to join our remote team.

This role is for engineers who thrive in high-performance, high-accountability environments. We are an extremely efficiency- and performance-driven organization. We move fast, we execute at scale, and we expect our engineers to do the same.

We are a global company with team members across 9 countries, but we hire selectively. We work with the best of the best. If you are not looking to grow fast, take ownership of large systems, and be evaluated strictly on performance, this role is not a good fit.

Global Team: Work with top talent across multiple countries while working with a US-based leadership team

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Next.js and Nest.js
• Design and implement responsive, production-grade front-end interfaces
• Build and maintain scalable back-end services, APIs, and databases
• Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems
• Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability
• Design and document system architecture, data flow, and ERDs
• Own large features end-to-end, from design to deployment
• Collaborate closely with a distributed engineering team
• Use Git for clean version control and code collaboration
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
• Follow best practices in software architecture and system design

Minimum Skills Requirements

Candidates must have strong, hands-on experience with the following:

• Next.js (v14/15/16): Minimum 5 years
• Nest.js: Minimum 3 years
• MongoDB: Minimum 5 years
• PostgreSQL: Minimum 4 years

Additional Requirements

• Strong expertise in JavaScript and modern full stack frameworks
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design
• Experience with Cloud services such as: AWS, DigitalOcean, Vercel
• Experience with Message Queue (e.g. RabbitMQ, Redis Queue, Kafka)
• Experience working with AI Dev Tools (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot)
• Proven experience building system-level applications, not just websites
• Experience creating system architecture diagrams and ERDs
• Strong understanding of large-scale system design and data flow
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Solid knowledge of software development best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's degree required
• Fluency in English communication is mandatory

• Engineers are evaluated regularly on output, efficiency, quality, and ownership
• Anyone scoring below 80% performance will not remain with the company
• High performers are rewarded aggressively:
• Up to 65% yearly salary increases, based on performance tier
