Your Role:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using C#.
• Create new and updated large scale content websites using the Umbraco CMS system.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
• Apply advanced Object-Oriented Programming techniques to create efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Optimize and maintain MS SQL Server and MongoDB databases to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and leverage experience to make informed technical decisions.
• Maintain documentation for code, processes, and technical designs.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and version control procedures (e.g., Git/GitHub) and proper QA testing.
• React effectively to frequent project demands and requirement changes.

What it takes to be part of our team:

• 8+ years of experience working in application development using C#.
• Experience in front-end technologies like HTML, jQuery, MVC.NET, React, Material UI, Bootstrap, Javascript.
• Excellent Object-Oriented Programming skills.
• Experience in MS SQL Server.
• Ability to react well and quickly to frequent project demands and requirement changes.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, able to explain ideas to both technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Able to lead a team of developers.
• Leverage experience/knowledge to make good technical decisions.
• Demonstrate professionalism.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in web application development on a multi-developer team.
• Experience working with IIS 7.0/6.0+.
• Knowledge in design patterns.
• TFS, GIT/Github Experience.
• iOS/XCode/Objective-C experience.
• PHP and MySQL experience.
• Umbraco Content Management development experience.
• Azure Function Apps and other Azure-based Services.
• Microsoft MVC.NET, Webforms, .NET MAUI, Razor experience.

The role is 50/50 frontend and backend, but entry focus leans heavily toward frontend web development (HTML, CSS, JS, Razor) since most projects are CMS-driven (Umbraco).

1. Core expectation: Candidates must already have solid web dev fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JS, Razor, C#) before they can be trained on Umbraco.
2. Backend work: More complex backend tasks (Azure Functions, microservices, APIs, AI, proprietary platforms) come later, after mastering CMS development.
3. Tools used: Visual Studio, VS Code, Codex, MongoDB Compass (diagnostic), GitHub Desktop.
