Required skills:
- Knowledge in Wet and Dry System
- AutoCAD and Revit Experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of WSP's organizational capability and how to access it.
- Working knowledge of systems, procedures and practices.
- Working knowledge of organizational approach to risk management, ethics and safety. Experienced in applying QA and OH&S systems.
- Experience in monitoring and managing the scope of multiple projects of varying complexity and size.
Roles and repsonsibilties:
- Responsible for the Design of Fire Protection services of any building types or classes and all its associated systems of work.
- Leads and supervises the Fire Protection Engineering team in implementing project objectives, plans and programs within the department as directed by the management.
- Ensures that the project designs/studies from the clients are completed in accordance with acceptable prescribed standard for each requesting party's place/ country of origin and its intent/content.
- Responsible for liaison with local supply authorities to gain approvals, when necessary. Manages and maintains the record of all incoming and outgoing drawings from the office
- Liaises with WSP partners both local and foreign affiliates and clients.
- Liaises and coordinates with other disciplines of the design team. Manages and controls outputs in accordance with the design works program.
- Attends meeting when required both local and overseas.
- Creates regular reports on project status for management.
- Use of Fire Protection software and 3D modelling to develop fire system designs.
- Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations.
- Develop experience in managing small teams.
