Job Description

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible in supporting portfolio companies by managing monthly reporting, reconciliation, and performance validation processes. This role ensures data accuracy, identifies variances, and drives timely submission of financial reports while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

Review and maintain monthly portfolio company template lists.

Distribute monthly reporting templates with clear submission deadlines.

Proactively follow up on overdue submissions and validation questions.

Escalate reporting delays or risks to internal stakeholders as needed.

Review and reconcile submitted templates in iLevel.

Validate reporting data against supporting documentation.

Identify discrepancies and provide clear, actionable reconciliation comments.

Ensure documentation is sufficient to support internal review and resolution.

Flag and track discrepancies for follow-up and correction.

Maintain SmartSheet tracker to monitor monthly reporting workflow.

Record submission dates and detailed review notes.

Update tracker statuses throughout the reporting cycle.

Verify KSL-approved templates and confirm completeness of submissions.

Validate data integrity across all monthly reporting tabs.

Review and confirm accuracy of Month-to-Date (MTD), Year-to-Date (YTD), IRR, ROY, and full-year performance metrics.

Assist in reviewing and accepting 5-year strategic plans.

Review and validate portfolio company budgets.

Support iLevel platform maintenance, onboarding, and template updates.

Review internal and external deliverables for consistency and accuracy.

Assist with weekly production reporting and data compilation.

Provide additional financial reporting support as required.

Coordinate directly with portfolio company management teams.

Communicate reconciliation findings clearly and professionally.

Anticipate reporting delays and escalate risks proactively.

Maintain regular communication with US-based stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Experience working with US-based clients in a remote capacity.

Demonstrates strong financial reconciliation experience.

Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English.

Screening Criteria

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in private equity portfolio reporting, financial reconciliation, or multi-entity performance analytics.

Experience working with U.S. based clients in a remote capacity.

Experience in MS Excel (including PivotTables, lookup formulas, SUMIFS, XIRR/IRR) for reconciliation and financial reporting.

Must have stable employment history.
