KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The FP&A Analyst will be a key member of the broader commercial finance team with responsibilities including but not limited
to:
• Contributing to management of the commercial finance timetable by preparing instructions & templates that collate
information from Commercial Finance, including CFO Pack input template, Group Forecast/Budget model input
template, metrics templates, annual timelines and forecast/budget timelines/instructions
• Contributing to maintaining the rhythm of FP&A, including updating group consolidation workbooks ahead of month
end and agreeing business unit forecast submissions to system
• Maintain and analyse Group Headcount (including forecasts and budgets) to produce the Group Workforce report
(monthly), with oversight from FP&A Manager
• Maintaining and analysing Annual leave and Bonus leave trackers & forecasts
• Contribute to the setting of group level assumptions and drivers for Budget & forecasts
• Support Business partnering for P&C, Legal, FabS and CEO business units including month end accruals and analysis and
approval of project trackers, with oversight from FP&A Managers
• Contribute to the consolidation of weekly revenue analysis
• Engage closely with other teams in FaBS, including Commercial Finance, Financial Accounting and Group Reporting
teams as required
• Ensure relevant Group SOX compliance requirements are met
• Focus on process improvement, identifying opportunities and implementing solutions
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Recently CA or CPA qualified
• Understanding of financial accounting
• Intermediate excel skills
• Planning tool (e.g. Adaptive Planning) experience strongly preferred
• Strong initiative; willingness to take ownership
• Excellent analytical capabilities, numeracy skills and accountability
• Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment
• Highly responsive to team requests, highly available & adaptable to shifting priorities
• Curiosity and the desire to learn
