Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst works closely with the Corporate Finance team. He/she is responsible to manage and oversee different types of projects depending on the needs of his/her assigned client. Some of the expected work for the Senior Financial Analyst include: developing and maintaining financial forecasts and budgets, conducting financial analysis, analyzing and interpreting variances between forecast and actuals, preparing dashboards and other management reports, and providing insights and recommendations to clients.

He/she will supervise all assigned financial analysts and will be responsible for coaching them and assisting them in their career growth along with the managers of the team.

As part of the company and the team, it is expected for the Senior Financial Analyst to give a helping hand with the other clients activities especially when free to the extent of his/her capacity and skills which is a manifestation of Empathy - one the company's core values.

Responsibilities

• Senior Financial Analyst level, subject to evaluation within the 6 months probationary period
• Handle projects from start to close - direct communication w/ client, build work product from scratch, manage and supervise 1-2 junior analyst per project
• Types of projects: annual budget, financial model, rolling forecast, investor pitch deck, KPI dashboards, FP&A support, and CFO support

• Be a leader, innovator and motivator in corporate finance team - introduce better ways to improve quality and efficiency of work
• Help with growth strategy for corporate finance - recruiting future corporate finance team members, marketing corporate finance, looking into what industries to focus on
• Must be able to effectively work in a team and maintain a positive working relationship when addressing problems and coming up with solutions.
• Deep understanding of finance, accounting, and financial analysis, and be proficient in using financial software and tools
• Manage client's expectations and relationships
• Must be flexible to accommodate tight deadline in a high-pressure environment
• Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, both oral and written
