We're helping an investment and advisory firm find a
Senior Financial Analyst (M&A / PE / VC) to support financial modeling, analysis, reporting, and client presentations. This is a unique opportunity to work directly on M&A, private equity, and venture capital projects while developing commercial insights that influence high-level decision-making. The role is designed for growth, with the potential to evolve into a more senior position over time.
Part-Time: 20 hours/week
Schedule: CET working hours
Location: Fully Remote
Engagement: Independent Contractor
Monthly Rate: Open, depending on level of experience
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for investment and strategic projects
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, interpreting complex data into actionable insights
- Prepare detailed spreadsheets, balance sheets, P&L statements, and financial reports
- Create high-quality client presentations in PowerPoint to communicate strategies and recommendations
- Support financial reporting and internal documentation
- Collaborate on M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions
- Apply a basic legal understanding of corporate and international structures in analyses
- Partner closely with the CEO to provide commercial insights and strategic input
What We're Looking For
- Degree/Master's in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, or Venture Capital
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling
- Strong grasp of accounting principles, balance sheets, and P&L statements
- Highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in data analysis and financial reporting
- Commercially minded with strong business acumen
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable with the highest integrity
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working directly with founders, CEOs, or senior executives
- Exposure to international business structures and cross-border finance
- Familiarity with financial due diligence processes
