Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis. This position provides visibility into business performance through budgeting, KPI tracking, ROI analysis, and close collaboration with operations, manufacturing, IT, and leadership teams. The ideal candidate brings strong technical finance skills combined with practical business insight.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of financial models, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections

Act as a strategic finance partner to crossfunctional teams, supporting budgeting, rolling forecasts, and business decisionmaking

Design and maintain financial models for sales performance, commissions, KPIs, departmental costs, and overall business performance

Analyze return on investment for new products, marketing initiatives, capital expenditures, and strategic projects

Perform detailed variance analysis versus budget and forecast, identify key drivers, and provide clear, actionable recommendations

Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial results, dashboards, and KPIs to senior leadership

Collaborate with IT on ERP, planning, and reporting system implementation, optimization, and maintenance

Support monthend close reviews, audit preparation, and continuous improvement of internal controls

Partner with operations and manufacturing teams to evaluate production costs, inventory levels, and resource utilization

Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and support special projects as business needs evolve

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required; MBA preferred

Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong financial modeling and presentation skills

Solid understanding of financial reporting, data analysis, and US GAAP principles

Handson experience with NetSuite and Power BI is required; experience with Salesforce and AIenabled tools is a plus

Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
