About The Job
The Sr. Financial Analyst prepares regular profitability reports to help the Commercial Finance Manager make recommendations and decisions related to product profitability. They also support business units in identifying key initiatives which can boost profitability through the use of lifetime profitability models.
They also work closely with Product Heads, Risk analysts and managers, and with senior management in order to help the business meet commercial KPIs and lifetime profitability targets.
What You'll Do
- - Prepare monthly profitability reports for one of HCPH's main products: POS loans, Cash Loans, Revolving Loans, and Value-added services
- - Act as primary point of contact within Finance for initiatives related to assigned product
- - Create lifetime profitability (LTP) models as needed by business units/streams
- - Maintain high level of integrity in reports prepared: ensure that LTPs are accurate , reliable, and prepared within reasonable timeframe
- - Benchmark HCPH's products against competition and suggest modifications.
- - Support the commercial finance manager in the digitalization efforts around LTP reporting.
- - Has in-depth knowledge of discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
- - Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
- - Works independently; receives minimal guidance
- - May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives
- - Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- - Trains/mentors junior staff
What You Need To Have
- Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering , Business Administration , Finance, Economics , or any related course
- 3 years+ of experience in a finance, commercial, or business analyst role
- Familiar with industry – knowledgeable about personal/consumer loans and/or Credit Cards
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Using Microsoft Excel
- Analytical mind, problem solving, well organized and can be trusted to take full ownership and pay attention to detail.
- Demonstrates a proactive, can-do attitude and a commitment to delivering work above bare minimum standards.
- E xcellent communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively communicate with, and present to, internal stakeholders including senior management.
