Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our financial planning and analysis processes, ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting and helping to drive strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-end Closing & Reconciliation: Perform month-end closing activities and conduct regular account reconciliations (e.g., bank, intercompany) to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Budgeting: Assist in the development of the annual corporate budget and periodic financial forecasts.
• Subsidiary / Business Unit Financial Reporting & Budget Analysis: Review and analyze budgets and financial statements submitted by each subsidiary / business unit to ensure alignment with overall company goals.
• Reasonableness and Variance Analysis: Transform raw financial data into clear, actionable insights and reports. Conduct detailed variance analysis between actuals and budget, identify root causes, and support management in decision-making.

Qualifications

• External Audit experience is required, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA or Big 4 experience is required
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office; experience with ERP or financial systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.
• Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.
