Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the financial and investment analyses for AEDC projects, for the consolidated AEDC financial plans, and financial research relevant to the company's plans and strategies. The Senior Financial Analyst shall report directly to the PFMD Assistant Manager and PBU's Head of Business Development and Project Execution.

MAJOR PROCESSES:

1. Financial and investment analyses of projects under consideration and development by AEDC

2. Analysis and development of strategies to maximize company assets and returns, reduction of

costs, and improvement of forecasted financial results.

3. Strategic analytical support in determining AEDC's financing needs.

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS:

1. PBU counterparts and internal customers

2. AEDC Project Managers and POC

3. AEDC Management Team

4. External customers and stakeholders

5. Financial Institution representatives

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Preparation of financial model and forecast

2. Analysis of new business opportunities, possible acquisition and asset sales

3. Evaluation of risk versus potential turn

4. Preparation and analysis financing proposals

5. Assist AG CorFin in coordination with finance providers on due diligence, term sheet negotiation,

and documentation

6. Analysis of agreement and its financial impact

7. Act as Liaison between company and investors.

8. Analysis of competitors financial strategies

9. Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, future trends, in

investments, risks, and economic influences

QUALIFICATION GUIDE:

EDUCATION:

  • Graduate of BS in Accountancy or BSBA Finance
  • With Master's Degree (advantage, but optional)
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (preferred but not required)
  • Certified Public Accountant (preferred but not required)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3 years in Financial Analysis and Modelling functions
  • Forecast updating, financial planning, and budget preparation
  • Advantage experience in accounting function related to budget preparation
  • Can represent the team in various meeting with management

SKILLS:

  • Analytical processing of financial data and information
  • Capital Budgeting (NPV, IRR, Payback Period, DCF)
  • Company Valuation (DCF, Comparable Company Analysis, Precedent Transactions)
  • Financial Modeling (Scenario Analysis, Sensitivity Analysis & Accretion/Dilution Analysis)
  • Advanced forms of financial analysis including ratios and other financial metrics
  • Data Visualization (Excel Dashboards, Charts, Graphs)
  • Expert level proficiency in MS Excel, proficient in MS Word, Power Point and Power BI
  • Preparation of presentation materials
  • Good in verbal and written communication skills
