Core Responsibilities

Responsible for providing senior professional level accounting tasks associated with all financial accounting matters for DBM Vircon companies. Main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Prepares monthly financial statements
• Ensures timely completion and accuracy of trial balance, company ledgers, journals, lease accounting compliance and validity of entries
• Perform Balance Sheets reconciliations and other ad hoc reconciliations as required
• Handles treasury activities which includes 13 week forecasts and managing vendor payments
• Foreign currency transactions, which include the revaluation and recharging of intercompany transactions
• Providing support in the external and internal audit requirements in order to comply with on time delivery of financial statements
• Other tasks as assigned by Finance Manager

Essential Skills / Competencies

• Certified Public Accountant with global experience
• At least 3+ years of previous experience working in a similar role and overall, 5 years of experience
• Have an understanding and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• High level of financial accounting and analytical skills
• Pro-active, with excellent attention to detail, good verbal and written communication skills and agile
• Excellent customer focus and able to consistently meet DBM Vircon's and its clients needs
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
