Senior Finance Officer

eMandarin Ventures Inc. (PayLoro) is looking for a detail-oriented and highly capable Senior Finance Officer to join our Finance team.

This is a hands-on senior accounting role ideal for someone with strong General Accounting and General Ledger (GL) experience who can independently manage accounting activities, month-end closing, reconciliations, BIR compliance, financial reporting, and audit requirements.

We are particularly interested in professionals who have strong technical accounting skills today and the potential to grow into a Finance Manager role in the future.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and maintain the General Ledger (GL) and ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and accounting schedules

• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities

• Prepare and analyze trial balance and monthly financial reports

• Perform and review bank and accounting reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

• Monitor and reconcile Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

• Prepare and maintain schedules and supporting documents for financial reporting

• Handle BIR compliance, tax schedules, and related documentation

• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with internal and external auditors

• Assist in the preparation of BSP and other regulatory reports, as required

• Analyze financial data and provide meaningful information to management

• Coordinate with Treasury and Reconciliation teams to ensure transactions are properly recorded and reconciled

• Assist in strengthening accounting controls, processes, and documentation

• Take on broader finance responsibilities as the role develops

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

• At least 3- 5 years of relevant experience in General Accounting, Financial Reporting, Audit, or Finance & Accounting

• Strong hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting and month-end closing

• Solid knowledge of BIR compliance and accounting processes

• Strong experience in bank reconciliation and financial account reconciliation

• Experience in preparing financial statements, accounting schedules, and audit requirements

• Experience handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets

• Experience in FinTech, digital payments, banking, or financial services is a strong advantage

• CPA is preferred but not mandatory

• Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership of deliverables
