The Mission
You will be the first strategic finance hire, reporting directly to the CEO. Your mandate is to build the company's financial infrastructure from the ground up. You will not just report on the past; you will architect the master operating model and define the path to profitability. You serve as the strategic partner to the CEOidentifying blind spots, stress-testing assumptions, and policing financial risk across the organization.

The Objectives
- Architect the Master Model: Build and own a dynamic, integrated 3-statement financial model (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in Excel/Google Sheets. This will be the organization's single source of truth.
- Strategic Advisory & Risk Management: Act as the financial conscience of the business. Proactively identify financial risks, market shifts, and operational inefficiencies the CEO may not see. You are expected to challenge leadership assumptions with data.
- Unit Economics & Pricing: Develop bottom-up pricing calculators and margin analyses for our BPO/SaaS hybrid model. Isolate variables to optimize contribution margins and ensure every contract signed is profitable.
- Financial Infrastructure: Establish the systems, cadences, and controls required for a high-velocity operation. Move the company from reactive cash accounting to predictive accrual-based forecasting.
- Capital Allocation: Define the metrics that matter. Monitor variance against the forecast, enforce budget discipline, and advise on capital efficiency to extend runway and maximize ROI.
The Candidate Profile
- IB / Big 4 DNA: You have a background in Investment Banking (Goldman, Morgan Stanley, etc.) or Big 4 Transaction Services (PwC, Deloitte, etc.). You operate with extreme rigor and attention to detail.
- Modeling Mastery: You possess superior fluency in Excel/Google Sheets. You understand circular references, complex arrays, and how to build audit-ready, flexible models from a blank canvas.
- Operational Finance: You understand the P&L mechanics of high-volume people operations or tech-enabled services. You know how to translate headcount into margin.
- Courage & Clarity: You can synthesize complex data into clear directives for the C-Suite. You have the confidence to deliver bad news and the foresight to prevent it.
