Senior Finance Manager
Location: Taguig. Mostly Remote
Department: Finance
Reports to: Managing Director
Role Overview
The Senior Finance Manager is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for overseeing the full finance function, driving financial performance, and providing high-level insights to support business growth. This role partners closely with senior leadership to influence decision-making, ensure financial integrity, and scale operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance and Business Partnering
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis
• Partner with business units to drive performance and profitability
Financial Reporting and Controls
• Oversee daily accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, fixed assets)
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Present financial performance to executive stakeholders
Cash Flow and Capital Management
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation strategies
• Optimize working capital and funding requirements
• Support investment decisions and expansion initiatives
Cost Management and Profit Optimization
• Drive cost efficiency initiatives across the organization
• Analyze margins, pricing, and profitability by business segment
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve financial performance
Compliance, Audit, and Risk Management
• Ensure full compliance with BIR requirements including tax filings, audits, and reporting
• Manage BOI registration compliance, incentives monitoring, and reportorial requirements
• Lead internal and external audits and coordinate with government agencies
• Ensure adherence to local regulatory and statutory requirements
• Develop and implement risk mitigation and governance frameworks
Leadership and Team Development
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team
• Build a high-performing, scalable finance function
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with HR, Operations, and Commercial teams
Process and Systems Improvement
• Drive automation and process improvements in finance operations
• Implement and optimize financial systems and reporting tools
• Establish scalable processes to support business growth
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred
• 8 to 15+ years of progressive finance experience
• Proven experience in a leadership role managing end-to-end finance
• Strong background in financial planning, reporting, and compliance
• Experience in [BPO / shared services / relevant industry] is a strong advantage
