Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

• Preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Provide financial insights, analysis, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, including VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate income tax filings.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital effectively.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and government agencies (e.g., BIR, SEC).

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes.
• Monitor financial performance against budget and report variances to management.
• Conduct scenario analysis and provide recommendations to optimize revenue, cost efficiency, and profitability.
• Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure business alignment.
• Act as a key advisor to the Country Manager.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required. MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• At least 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a financial controller or senior finance leadership role.
• Technical Knowledge:
• In-depth understanding of Philippine taxation, local and international accounting standards, SEC reporting, and regulatory requirements for credit bureaus/financial institutions.
• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High integrity, detail orientation, and ability to thrive in a regulated environment.
