Job Description

The snapshot

We're hiring a Senior Finance Analyst for a major global financial services company. You'll join their Business Aligned Team, owning the allocation of a $1.3 billion cost base across the organization, primarily supporting one of its largest business groups.

This is a real FP&A role. Not tax. Not compliance. You'll report to a Senior Manager and work directly with Australian stakeholders on a regular basis.

What you'll actually do

  • Produce monthly management reporting on cost base and business recoveries
  • Review month-end cost base for technology service areas, analysing variances month-on-month and against forecast
  • Provide clear analysis and commentary on what moved and why
  • Identify adjusting entries with the Financial Control team and ensure completeness of journal entries, especially tech cost accruals
  • Join regular financial meetings with stakeholders to review month-end results, forecasts, budget build, and billable rates
  • Communicate directly with Australia-based stakeholders. This isn't occasional. It's a genuine, regular part of the job.
  • Spot opportunities to improve and simplify existing processes
  • Support ad hoc requests and team initiatives as needed

What you need to bring

  • 5+ years in accounting or finance, ideally weighted toward FP&A rather than tax
  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • Solid experience in financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cost modelling
  • Confident, clear communication. You'll regularly present to Australian stakeholders, so clarity of thought matters more than accent.
  • Comfort working with complex datasets in a matrixed environment
  • Strong Excel skills, plus familiarity with cost management and BI tools
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, but still able to see the bigger picture

Nice to have

  • Experience with Apptio, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Background at a large multinational, especially in financial services

What's in it for you

  • 1 wellbeing leave day per year
  • 5 days carers leave on top of standard annual leave
  • 2 days paid volunteer leave + donation matching
  • Comprehensive medical and life insurance
  • Employee Assistance Program with counselling and coaching access
  • Learning and development support, including reimbursement for professional memberships
  • Work-from-home equipment reimbursement
  • Full government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) + 13th month pay
