Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst / Accountant to oversee the full accounting cycle while providing financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic insights to support business growth. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is equally comfortable managing day-to-day accounting operations and contributing to high-level financial planning and decision-making.
The successful candidate will have strong experience working with US-based companies and modern fintech platforms, including QuickBooks, Ramp, Stripe, and Mercury.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Manage full-cycle accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and journal entries.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly transaction processing and reconciliation.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, payment processors, and fintech platforms.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Analyze financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasting tools.
- Assist leadership with budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
Cash Flow & Strategic Finance
- Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Track revenue, expenses, and profitability across business units.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial insights and scenario modeling.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and financial controls.
Systems & Technology
- Utilize QuickBooks for accounting and financial reporting.
- Manage and reconcile transactions through Ramp, Stripe, and Mercury.
- Maintain financial data integrity across multiple systems.
- Recommend and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of accounting and finance experience.
- Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting independently.
- Strong financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting experience.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Experience working with Ramp, Stripe, and Mercury.
- Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with SaaS, eCommerce, or high-growth business environments.
- Experience implementing accounting process improvements and financial controls.
- Exposure to FP&A, strategic finance, and executive-level reporting.
