What It's About
You will be responsible for the complete, accurate, and timely calculation of fees for Partners Group programs and its clients worldwide. In this role, you will develop a strong understanding of various fee structures and principles across a portfolio of private market programs and clients throughout the fund and investment life cycle—including management and incentive fees. You will also be part of the fee team that handles a variety of fee-related activities for programs and clients, collaborating closely with operational teams and client relationship professionals across the globe.
In This Role, You Will
- Interpret fee terms from legal agreements
- Input, review, and oversee fee parameters in the fee database
- Execute and evaluate non-standard or complex closing and periodic fee calculations within required deadlines
- Analyze and identify trends or developments in fee structures
- Manage multiple automated alerts and prompts within the fee system
- Comply with internally reviewed fee processes and controls
- Drive implementation of fee automation initiatives
- Coordinate annual external fee audits
- Collaborate with Legal and Structuring teams to clarify fee terms
- Communicate fee outcomes with Client Relationship and Risk teams
- Contribute to the proper documentation of decisions and outcomes
- Recommend enhancements to fee systems and processes
- Respond to client inquiries regarding fee matters
- Critically evaluate unconventional fee structures
What We Expect
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or Business Administration from an accredited university, with 6+ years of relevant experience preferred; candidates with less experience will also be considered for non-Senior role
- Experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Hedge Fund accounting/finance is a strong advantage
- Independent and analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail; able to synthesize fee concepts and assess their impact
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Genuine passion for automation and driving efficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
