What your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead all facilities management operations for an assigned client account, serving as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor on facility-related matters
- Manage and mentor a team of facilities professionals, fostering a culture where everyone is empowered to thrive and develop their skills
- Develop and oversee annual operating budgets, capital improvement plans, and financial forecasting to ensure cost-effective service delivery
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality performance
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and client standards
- Lead strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency, sustainability, and occupant experience across the portfolio
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on facility performance, project status, and key metrics to client stakeholders and JLL leadership
- Respond to urgent facility issues and coordinate emergency response procedures to minimize business disruption
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive facilities management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or account management capacity
- Proven track record managing large-scale, complex facilities or multi-site portfolios
- Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets exceeding $5 million annually
- Excellent client relationship management and communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with C-suite executives
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and facilities management software platforms
- Strong leadership abilities with experience building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
- Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager), FMP (Facility Management Professional), or PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Experience in corporate office, life sciences, healthcare, or other specialized facility environments
- Knowledge of sustainability practices, LEED principles, and energy management strategies
- Experience implementing workplace experience initiatives and modern workplace strategies
- Familiarity with IFMA, BOMA, or other industry best practices and benchmarking standards
- Advanced degree in related field or MBA
