The Qualifications We Seek

Education & Experience

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of external audit experience within a public accounting or audit firm environment
  • Proven experience leading, controlling, and completing audit engagements from planning through completion
  • Prior experience with external audit engagements for multiple clients is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of audit methodologies, risk assessment, internal controls, and compliance requirements
  • Willingness and ability to work onsite in Makati on a full-time basis

  • Adaptable and resilient in managing competing priorities and deadlines

IT / Software Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience using audit, accounting, or financial reporting software is an advantage

Your Daily Tasks

Technical (65%)

  • Run and control assigned audit engagements
  • Ensure successful completion of audits using strong technical skills
  • Perform core audit activities, including analytics, work papers, financial statement preparation, documentation, system evaluation, confirmations, reviews, and compilation
  • Maintain quality and timely completion of audit files
  • Schedule meetings and resolve workflow disruptions
  • Support staff by addressing queries and guiding audit tasks
  • Process Management / Administration (25%)
  • Complete timesheets and budget engagement tasks
  • Monitor time usage and escalate budget issues
  • Update priorities and contribute to process improvements

Self Development (10%)

  • Attend training and self-study to strengthen technical and soft skills
  • Stay updated on audit software and practices
  • Participate in team meetings and share learnings
