Job Summary
Reporting to Head, Pro Football, the Senior Executive, Pro Football shall be responsible for the daily administration of the Women's Amateur Leagues including the Women's Premier League (WPL), Women's National League (WNL), Women's Challenge Cup (WCC) and/or other tournaments under the purview of the Department. The Senior Executive is also required to assist in the planning and execution of football events and projects.
Job Description
- Perform the role of Competition Manager for the Women's Amateur Leagues,including the Women's Premier League (WPL), Women's National League (WNL),Women's Challenge Cup (WCC) and/or any other assigned tournaments
- Scheduling and drafting of domestic competition formats and leaguefixtures as directed
- Assist in planning, coordination and execution of all FAS and/orSingapore Premier League tournaments, matches, events, exercises and projects
- Correspondence with Participating Clubs and other stakeholders on allcompetition matters
- Perform duties as Purchasing Officer for Pro Football Department
- Perform duties of the Competitions Official at Singapore Premier Leagueand international matches outside of official working hours on a regular basis
- Perform duties of the General Coordinator/Assistant General Coordinatorand other supporting roles during tournaments and matches as directed outsideof official working hours on a regular basis
- Maintain systematic records, reports and statistics of relevantcompetitions and tournaments and database of players/officials
- Conduct various meetings, briefings, presentations and workshops for clubs and other stakeholders
- Conduct pre-season, in-season and post-season stadium inspections
- Perform duties of the Secretary - FAS Competitions Committee or other Committees as assigned
- Handle all administrative and operational functions related to Competition Management Systems and their related modules
- Handle departmental administrative duties
- Any other duties as assigned by Deputy General Secretary/Head, Pro Football
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Sports Management, Event Management, or a related discipline
- Prior experience in sports operations, competition management, or event coordination preferred
- Experience working with football leagues, tournaments will be an advantage
- Has good general knowledge of local and international football and basic understanding of football operations and the IFAB Laws of the Game
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills proactive team player with a high level of initiative
- Proficient in delivering presentations and conducting meetings
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays as required
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly in draftingpresentation materials, report writing and data analysis
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships across all levels.
