Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Executive, Motor Claims to join our Claims team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing assigned motor claims from notification through resolution, while delivering a high standard of customer service and achieving fair, timely, and cost-effective claims outcomes.
The role will also support the Team Manager in claims operations, process improvement, cost management, and the delivery of an enhanced customer experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide the highest level of customer care, responsiveness, and satisfaction when managing assigned claims to produce the best claim outcomes
- Provide accurate and timely information to all external and internal stakeholders to address claim status and other product related inquiries
- Interpret the insurance contract and apply to the exposures presented with each assigned claim
- Evaluate and negotiate the resolution of claims, while mitigating damages, to achieve cost effective claim outcomes within authorized amounts or specific file authority to produce appropriate outcomes
- Review reserves on all assigned claim files and recommend
- Exercise independent judgment up to the stated financial authority
- Actively identify fraudulent claims and report it if discovered during the handling of assigned claim files
- Early identify subrogation opportunities to minimize loss and improve loss ratio
- Proactively work with superior to continuous seek improvement in claims processes for better cost control and improve customer satisfaction
Job Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant claims-handling experience, preferably with exposure to motor claims.
- Experience in claims assessment, negotiation, liability determination, fraud identification, and recovery or subrogation is an advantage.
- Detail-minded, service-oriented, team player with good communications and interpersonal skills.
- CGI certification, including BCP, PGI, and CGI, is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and claims administration systems.
