Senior ETL Developer
Location: Mandaluyong, Manila, Philippines (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 6 months (Extendable)
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Manila Time)
Role Overview
The role focuses on enterprise data integration, ETL development, data reconciliation, and ensuring data readiness for Treasury systems and downstream reporting platforms.
You will work closely with business analysts, system owners, infrastructure teams, and managed services providers (MSP) to ensure stable, high-quality, and compliant data operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and optimization of ETL processes using Oracle PL/SQL
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows for data ingestion into staging, data warehouse, data marts, and downstream systems
- Manage automation of file processing and end-to-end ETL job workflows
- Implement robust error handling, exception management, and rollback frameworks
- Ensure data quality, data lineage, and impact analysis across systems
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT
- Adapt ETL solutions to evolving business and data requirements
- Collaborate with Business Analysts on technical improvements and efficient system design
- Coordinate with infrastructure, middleware teams, and MSP to ensure smooth production operations
- Document ETL designs, metadata, workflows, and test results
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and data governance requirements

- Power BI report and dashboard design
- Power BI data modeling and analysis
- Datadog dashboard design and alert configuration
- Datadog Real User Monitoring (RUM)
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Python for data processing or automation
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 810 years of hands-on experience in:
- Oracle PL/SQL-based ETL development
- Data lineage management and impact analysis
- Oracle databases (10g, 11g, 12c)
- Expert-level SQL and PL/SQL skills
- Strong ETL architecture, design, and documentation experience
- Solid understanding of:
- Advanced database concepts (indexes, tablespaces, performance tuning)
- Unix/Linux OS fundamentals and scripting
- Middleware data integration concepts
- Experience working in Agile or RAD environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
