Job Summary:
The Senior Enterprise Proposal Writer provides proposal writing and oversight of proposal management activities. Activities include engaging with subject matter experts (SMEs) throughout the organization, developing the proposal outline and project management matrix with business requirements, developing written content, managing proposal schedules and deadlines and monitoring the progress of the proposal. The Senior Proposal Writer is required to be a creative writer as well as manage the proposal process. This role is expected to provide project leadership and oversight to ensure that supporting teams and content integrates with other RFP materials and is compliant with all RFP requirements.
Responsibilities
Participates in the development and review of proposal strategies and win themes.
Coordinates with organizational leaders to assemble proposal team resources, recommending internal and/or external resources when required.
Creates a proposal outline and uses a structure throughout the proposal development effort.
Analyzes the RFP requirements against the proposal outline to ensure compliance and responsiveness to the customer's pain points and needs throughout the proposal development effort.
Creates the project management matrix and tracks the fulfillment of all requirements throughout the proposal development effort.
Reviews storyboards and proposal sections to ensure all requirements are addressed and the most relevant responses are incorporated into the proposal.
Conducts regular proposal progress status meetings and manages the proposal schedule.
Facilitates win team reviews and conducts evaluations of content, overall proposal strategies, and secures approval from senior management.
Manage the writing/editing/rewriting efforts and graphic concepts development as needed.
Coordinates between the commercial and operational teams to ensure a consistent approach and response to the proposed solution.
Manages ongoing maintenance and archiving of proposal content within shared drives and the RFx database.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills Requirements
Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry experience and understanding of specific industry and market trends.
5 or more years of overall experience centered around proposal writing, in fast paced, deadline-driven, high volume proposal environments.
Demonstrated success in writing winning proposals, especially for large enterprises.
Higher education can be substituted for years of experience.
Excellent English communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively in both written and spoken English.
Research skills and strong ability to gather and analyze information to support proposal content. Capable of managing multiple proposal projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Proven ability to conceptualize and write compelling, solution-oriented proposal narrative and oral presentation slides from scratch as required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office business applications required.
Meticulous attention to detail ensuring proposals are error-free and meet all requirements.
