Senior Engineer

Our client is one of leading Payment Service Providers, headquartered in South Korea. They are looking for an experienced Senior Payments Engineer to join their growing fintech engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable payment processing systems and APIs.
• Build and maintain gateway integrations with processors like Stripe, Adyen, Square, and traditional banking networks.
• Implement PCI DSS compliance measures and maintain security best practices.
• optimize system performance to handle high transaction volumes and peak loads.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on payment system best practices.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of software engineering experience with at least 4-5years specifically in payments, fintech, or financial services.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or C#.
• Deep understanding in distributed systems, and cloud platforms, deep domain knowledge of payment standards and security.
