What You'll Do
As a Senior Engineer, you will:
- Build and maintain full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, and AWS Lambda-compatible languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Integrate with data services like DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Redshift, and external APIs for seamless data interoperability.
- Implement secure authentication using Cognito, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
- Leverage AI and automation tools (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenAI APIs) to accelerate development and enhance user experiences.
- Ensure high-quality code through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance, security, and integration issues across platforms.
- Recommend and adopt AWS-native tools to improve delivery speed and reliability.
- Mentor junior developers and foster knowledge sharing to elevate the entire team.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals and actively contribute in Agile ceremonies.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 58 years of full-stack development experience, with strong emphasis on React and AWS serverless technologies.
- Proven track record delivering secure, scalable applications in distributed enterprise environments.
- Experience in insurance, healthcare, or financial services is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Expert in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Python, Java, or equivalent languages.
- Strong experience with Lambda, microservices, and backend development.
- Proficiency with AWS services including API Gateway, DynamoDB, Cognito, S3, RDS, EventBridge.
- Skilled at integrating structured and unstructured data (XML, JSON) and third-party APIs.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and AI development assistant tools like Codex, Copilot, Cursor; hands-on Claude code experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, CDK).
- Experience building middleware for business applications and document generation (SmartCOMM or similar) is desirable.

- Strong collaboration mindset, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
