Position Title: Senior Endpoint Management Specialist

Responsibilities
- Device Management - Operate, maintain, and scale the Advanced Energy multi-platform Endpoint device management infrastructure; identify and remediate performance bottlenecks and architectural constraints.
- Device Security and Compliance and Patch Management - Develop, maintain, and version baseline configurations, patching workflows, security stacks, and image refresh processes.
- Systems Integration - Integrate endpoint platforms with identity, security, telemetry, SIEM, ticketing, and audit systems.
- Automation - Automate onboarding, offboarding, remediation, configuration‑drift controls, and event‑driven endpoint actions (e.g., via APIs, scripts, and webhooks).
- Software Deployment - Deploy and mage software applications using automated tools.
- Reporting - Author, generate, and maintain internal and external compliance and audit reports covering endpoint posture, configuration drift, security compliance, patch levels, and related metrics.
- Tier 3 Escalation Point - Act as an escalation point (Tier 2) for complex endpoint related issues and assist Helpdesk and ServiceDesk staff.
- Documentation – Author the creation and maintaining detailed documentation for all configurations, processes, and support procedures.
- Dashboards, alerts and asset health monitoring - Build dashboards, alerts, and insight tooling to monitor endpoint health, detect anomalies, and track environment trends.
- IT Support Enablement & Collaboration - Partner with Support / Help Desk teams to elevate knowledge and provide enablement through knowledge transfer/brown‑bag sessions, documentation, and knowledge base articles.
- End‑User Experience & Service Improvement - Manage feedback from end users to improve IT‑delivered products and services.
- Strategic Planning & Technology Road mapping - Contribute to the endpoint technology roadmap, including tool evaluations and migration strategies.
- Training, Coaching & Knowledge Development - Mentor staff and peers on endpoint tooling, scripting, and automation best practices.
- Change Management & Governance - Participate in Change Management meetings to review and test planned changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years (or equivalent) relative experience in systems administration, endpoint/device management, or EUC roles.
- Solid foundation in modern endpoint management tools (Intune, JAMF Pro, Workspace ONE, Endpoint Central)
- Strong understanding of endpoint security principles and technologies, including antivirus and encryption.
- Proficient in managing Operating Systems (Windows, mac OSX, iOS/iPadOS, Android, Linux).
- Intermediate-level scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Experience in managing projects from planning through completion.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with other teams (IT Helpdesk, ServiceDesk, Systems, Network and Security teams).
- Experience or strong familiarity in using multi-platform modern endpoint management tools.
- Experience with zero‑touch provisioning solutions such as Autopilot, DEP/Apple Business Manager (ABM), etc.
- Experience with version control (Git) for managing automation, scripts, and tooling.
- Hands‑on experience building internal tooling, frameworks, or automation libraries.
- Familiarity with observability, telemetry, and analytics systems, and experience integrating endpoints into those systems.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Certification or experience in security and compliance, including security certifications or work with compliance standards (Microsoft Security Baseline and CIS Benchmarks).
- Exposure to ITIL practices, software lifecycle management, and audit processes.
- Experience with Linux administration (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) in either client or server contexts.
