About the role

As a Senior Employee Relations Specialist at Ubiquity, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and collaborative work environment for our employees. This full-time position, based in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, will see you providing strategic guidance and support to our HR team and business leaders on a wide range of employee relations matters.

What You'll Do:

  • Advise and assist managers in handling complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management

  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints and concerns, ensuring fair and impartial outcomes

  • Collaborate with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies

  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate managers on best practices in employee relations

  • Participate in the design and implementation of HR initiatives that promote positive employee engagement and a healthy organisational culture

  • Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in employee relations

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on strategic workforce planning and people management decisions

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, preferably within a large, complex organisation

  • Strong working knowledge of labour laws, HR best practices, and collective bargaining agreements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations and build trust with employees at all levels

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve employee-related issues

  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable HR strategies

  • Experience in delivering training and facilitating workshops on employee relations topics

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
