We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of complex electrical systems. This role is critical in ensuring system reliability, scalability, and compliance across a wide range of infrastructure and engineering projects. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in delivering high-quality electrical design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, including voltage transformation and distribution (e.g., 4V, 60V, and related systems)
- Develop and apply system redundancy strategies, including N+1 configurations and resilient backup systems
- Design and coordinate paralleling switchgear and overall electrical infrastructure for critical facilities
- Prepare and review detailed electrical drawings, schematics, calculations, and technical specifications
- Utilize Revit and other design tools to produce accurate and coordinated project documentation
- Ensure all designs comply with the latest National Electrical Code (NEC) and other applicable local and international standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support projects from concept design through construction and commissioning
- Conduct design reviews and provide quality assurance to maintain high engineering standards
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across project teams
- Support troubleshooting, system optimization, and performance improvements for existing electrical systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical engineering design, preferably in infrastructure or mission-critical projects
- Strong expertise in electrical power systems, including voltage transformation, distribution, and protection systems
- In-depth knowledge of redundancy strategies (e.g., N+1, 2N) and system resiliency design
- Proven experience with paralleling switchgear and critical power infrastructure
- Proficiency in Revit and other electrical design/drafting software
- Thorough understanding of current NEC standards and best practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- High level of attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality deliverables
