Job Description

About the Role

We are expanding our agency advertising team and looking for a hands-on Senior E-commerce Advertising Specialist with strong Amazon Ads experience. This is an execution-, analysis-, and operations-focused role: overall advertising strategy and direction are set by the Head of Advertising, while you execute, monitor, analyze, identify issues, communicate clearly, and follow through across multiple client accounts.

Amazon is the primary marketplace. Experience with other marketplaces such as Walmart Ads and eBay Ads is a strong plus.

Reports to: Head of Advertising

Key Responsibilities

Amazon Advertising Operations

● Manage and monitor Amazon Ads campaigns — Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display — across multiple client accounts.

● Track campaign, keyword, search term, placement, budget, bid, and product-level performance; identify anomalies, risks, and opportunities.

● Execute campaign and bid adjustments based on established strategy; perform search-term analysis, keyword optimization, and negative-keyword management (when authorized).

● Support campaign creation and expansion as your experience and performance develop.

Client Account & Daily Monitoring

● Own day-to-day advertising operations for assigned client accounts, monitoring each account multiple times per day with full visibility into status and performance.

● Catch issues early — sudden ACoS increases, sales/conversion drops, budget exhaustion, CPC spikes, CTR/CVR shifts, ranking changes, or unusual campaign behavior — escalate quickly through the right channel and follow up until resolved.

● Keep accurate records and reporting for every client account.

Reporting & Data Analysis

● Build accurate, detailed Amazon Ads performance reports in Microsoft Excel (daily, weekly, and monthly).

● Track KPIs: Spend, Sales, ACoS, ROAS, TACoS, CTR, CVR, CPC, Impressions, Clicks, Organic vs. Ad Sales, and Top of Search.

● Reports should not just show numbers — they explain: What happened → Why it happened → What was done → What needs to happen next.

Inventory & Catalog Coordination

● Align advertising activity with inventory levels; flag stockout or excess-inventory risks and support sales forecasting and forecast accuracy.

● Work with the Account Management and Catalog teams; identify listing, pricing, Buy Box, reviews/ratings, parent-child, broken/suppressed listing, content, and competitive issues that affect ad performance, and measure their impact.

Cross-Functional & Process

● Collaborate with the Head of Advertising, Account Management, Inventory, and Catalog teams (and external advertising partners when needed), communicating important information clearly across teams and following issues through to resolution.

● Manage daily advertising tasks in Asana; maintain accurate task status and follow-ups; document recurring processes and contribute to SOPs; follow established agency workflows and reporting standards.

Required Qualifications

● Minimum 4 years of hands-on Amazon Ads / Amazon PPC experience.

● Must have personally managed Amazon Ads for more than one account, each with $100,000+ in monthly ad spend.

● Strong with Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display; keyword research, search-term analysis, negative keywords, bid optimization, and placement optimization.

● Advanced Microsoft Excel — Pivot Tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and large datasets.

● Experience managing multiple campaigns, products, and/or client accounts simultaneously.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to identify problems proactively rather than waiting for instructions.

● Strong follow-up and task management; experience with Asana, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365.

● Strong written and verbal English; able to work independently in a structured remote agency environment.

Preferred Qualifications

● Walmart Ads, eBay Ads, or other major e-commerce advertising platforms.

● Helium 10, DataDive, Keepa, Sellerboard, Xnurta, Perpetua.

● Experience with Amazon Account Management, Catalog Operations, or Inventory Management.

What We Are Looking For

Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, organized, reliable, and process-driven — someone who can reliably manage Amazon advertising operations across multiple client accounts without constant supervision.

The goal is not simply to manage campaigns. It is to build a reliable operating system around client advertising, where performance is continuously monitored, issues are identified early, actions are taken, and management always has clear visibility.

Operating approach: Monitor → Analyze → Identify → Act → Communicate → Follow Up → Report.

Work Structure

● Full-time · Remote · 40 hours per week · U.S. working hours

● Agency environment · Multiple client accounts · Reports to Head of Advertising

● Initial evaluation period: 7–10 days · Trial period: up to 30 days
