In this role, you'll lead core finance functions including preparing financial reports and transactions, reviewing bank statements, maintaining cash forecasts, and processing payroll. You'll own reconciliations and P&L analysis across DTC platforms like Amazon, TikTok, and Shopify, ensuring financial clarity and accuracy for real-time insights and workflow optimization. Your work will directly contribute to clear financial insights, streamlined operations, and the development of scalable, efficient financial systems.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-orientedSenior Accountant (E-commerce)to support our financial reporting, bookkeeping, and operational finance functions. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at ensuring consistency and accuracy across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Generate and analyze financial reports from DTC (direct-to-consumer) sales channels, including Amazon, TikTok, and Shopify.
• Conduct profit & loss (P&L) analysis to identify trends and ensure consistency across platforms.
• Reconcile financial data from multiple systems using tools like Finaloop to ensure real-time accuracy.
• Prepare financial forecasts and assist in cash flow management.

Bookkeeping & Accounting Support:

• Review bank statements and categorize financial transactions with high accuracy.
• Support payroll processing and monthly/quarterly/year-end closings.
• Collaborate with the finance team to refine and streamline bookkeeping processes through platforms such as QuickBooks and Finaloop.

Operational & Administrative Assistance:

• Manage financial-related emails and document internal processes.
• Issue Certificates of Insurance and respond to ad-hoc financial requests.
• Take detailed meeting notes and support in tracking follow-up items.

Leadership in Financial Operations:

• Develop a deep understanding of our financial systems and DTC platform integrations.
• Recommend and implement improvements to financial workflows.
• Oversee compliance, execution, and long-term financial strategy.
• Build and manage a finance team as the company scales.

Required Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping in an e-commerce or DTC environment.
• 3-5 years of experieince with QuickBooks
• Strong grasp of P&L analysis, cash forecasting, and financial reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of financial modeling.
• Familiarity with Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify, or other e-commerce platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in data handling.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in or with startups or fast-scaling businesses.
• Understanding of U.S.GAAP and general bookkeeping principles.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
• Interest or experience in process automation and system optimization.

• Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST
• Monday - Friday, 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM Ph Time

Contract Type: Supervisory: Not subject to Holiday Premium, Night Shift Differential, Overtime
